Use | Uses Direct Red BWS is mainly used for dyeing cellulose fiber fabrics such as cotton and viscose, with good dyeing rate, poor migration dyeing, sensitive to salt, and can also be used for direct printing, as well as with yellow, orange, Red, Brown and other dyes color matching, can also be used for silk, wool fabric dyeing, can also be used to make the lake pigment. |
EPA chemical information | C. I. Direct Red 243 (86543-85-3) |
introduction
direct red BWS is soluble in water with solubility of 30g/L and insoluble in acetone. Add 10% sulfuric acid to change to light blue, and add 10% sodium carbonate solution without change. For dyeing cellulose fibers, the dye has good absorption at 80-100C. The affinity is the greatest, and the acid resistance is good. The copper-colored light darkens, but the iron-colored light does not change.
use
direct sun-resistant red BWS is used for dyeing cotton, viscose fiber, silk and printing of fabrics, with excellent sun fastness. Especially suitable for one-bath one-step dyeing of polyester-cotton and polyester-viscose blended fabrics.
production method
O-aminophenol -4-sulfonic acid, 4-methoxyaniline-2-sulfonic acid, J acid, cyanuric chloride and ethanolamine are used as raw materials. First, diazotize o-aminophenol -4-sulfonic acid, couple with J acid, then diazotize 4-methoxyaniline-2-sulfonic acid, couple with another molecule of J acid, and then two Monoazo compounds are condensed with cyanuric chloride respectively, and finally ethanolamine and cyanuric chloride are condensed for the third time to obtain the product. The finished product is salted out, filtered, dried and crushed.
